DURAMAX DIESEL

Today Melissa and I went on a walk and I got a few very cute pics of her new puppy Diesel...yes he is a puppy...he is almost 5 months old and is already 65 pounds! They expect him to be about 120ish!! He is black lab and blood hound mix....soooooo cute! (I call him Gary the snail though because he "slimes" everything with drool!)

Here he is when they just brought him home...he was sleeping in brians lap!

This was a few weeks before they brought him home! He seemed so tiny then...

This is a pic from today. Mel and I go walking in the Ravines (its a state park in Palatka) and today we took all three dogs (Otto, Molli, and Diesel) for the first time. It was CRAZY!

Here is Diesel IN the fountain, laying down and getting a drink all at once. I had to pull Otto out of the water so he didn't soak my car on the way home! Diesel kept putting his whole head under the fountain of water! There were two workers right next to us laughing so hard at him!

This is a good picture to see Melissas new idea of making him wear a bib so you can catch his drool strings...bleh! (in the Ravines-before the fountain)

Beach Time Already.....

So last Saturday we did a Walk-A-Thon for a little girl at our church who has CF, her name is Mikyah. The walk was up in Jacksonville so Brian and I just rode with Melissa and Shawn and afterwards we went to Mantanza Inlet to go to the beach! The boys did some fishing and Mel and I just layed out the whole time...the water is still a little too cold to go swimming. They didn't catch any fish but we deffinetly caught some rays!
Haha we were all taking silly pictures that day...
I love taking pics that catch people by surprise
not a great pic of us...but it'll do for now haha
On the way back from the beach..
Shawn thought he would do a something silly....
She's so funny too
haha it's funny cuz you can see our burgerking from that morning too lol
She is so silly...
So here is Melissa finally smiling again after all those crazy faces!

Our friends the Belletto's are moving this Friday so we all went out for dinner last night (minus Nick) and I got a few pics of Gracie with some of us and I thought I would share them cuz she is such a beautiful baby! So this first one is Melissa and Grace

Me and Grace outside of Niko's

This is one of my favorite pics! Look at them both smiling...so cute!
She was tired and wanted a nap and didn't want to take another pic haha I agreed with her...I would have liked a nap too haha (Richelle was kind enough to point out that my bangs look huge in this pic lol-I am rockin the poof here buts it's not as big as it looks-Shawn is standing behind me and it makes it look bigger haha)

B-B-B-Bahamas!

With Melissa and Briana going to the Bahamas it made me think of when Trina and I went last year! I wanna go back some day! Brian and I were talking about it today and we are thinking about going to the Carribean some where next year! I hope we get to go!
I never knew that I was scared of birds until I saw wild roosters all over the islands!

They also had wild iguanas-this one was about 3 foot long...pretty neat.

One day, Trina and I just layed in hammocks on the beach all day...so beautiful and serene!

To the island of Cococay, we had to take a smaller boat to get there, there wasn't anywhere for Trina and I to sit so the captains let us come back in the cabin and drive the boat half way there! It was so much fun..

Here's the cruise ship...

Trina and I getting ready to go out and see a stand up comedian. Jeff Carey-he was so funny!

Brian is such a great Uncle, friend, boyfriend....

Brian and I have made really good friends with Melissa and Shawn Parish for about the past year now and their three kids are just amazing! All of them call him Uncle Brian and me Aunt Sarah (they took this upon their selves, most of their aunt and uncles live really far away so we are as close as it gets!). Since Brian is so far away from his niece and I'm no where close to my nephews and nieces, it's nice to have someone who looks up to you! By no means does this replace any of our nieces or nephews but it's still fun! These are some picutres I took of Brian and Shane wrestling on Friday after Melissa and Briana left for the Bahamas! (I wanna go back so bad haha...I'll get some of those pics up on here too!)

April Showers Bring May Flowers

It is raining so much that the rain gutters won't hold all of the rain! It keeps spilling over like a water fall! Pretty cool to see.

Our yard it starting to flood-It started raining last night at about 7PM and I don't think it's stopped yet...or slowed down!

Sunrise Service on Easter morning

The sun was starting to come up right here...it was so georgous that morning, sitting on the river front and waiting for Brother Joey to start preaching. We had donuts and coffee ready for anyone who wanted some. We had our Sunrise serivice are Melissa's mom and dad's house.

Here is Brother Joey starting to preach after we sang a few hymns with just a guitar...

The sun is almost all the way up here... And here is the full sunrise! So pretty!

I know you can barely see it but there is an otter swimming out there right before sunrise...it was a really cool thing to see! (hes about 5 feet to the right of the dock in this picture)

I took a couple pics of Brian with Jade and Shane-Jade is a little shy...she was not wanting to have her picture taken. Shane had the sun in face when I was taking his pic but it still turned out nice!

Cupid's a little late this year...

When Brian got off work today he decided he wanted to try his new accessory for fishing/hunting...he set up one of his bows with an arrow that is attatched to a heavy fishing line and a reel. How it's suppose to work: you shoot the arrow at a gar fish or tilapia (these fish hang out near the top or in eel grass so they are easy to spot and kill). How Brian worked it: it was very very windy and the string got wrapped around the reel wrong and the wind caught it and it came around and almost hit him..at this point, I told him "Maybe this isn't such a good idea since it's so windy out?" Brian says, "Nah, it'll be fine.." then he pulled the arrow back again and WHAPPP it came back around again and stuck in his leg...good thing it only went in about a 1/2 an inch because there are these little barbs on the arrow about 3/4 of an inch up-this is so they can pull the FISH back up out of the water and they won't slip off the arrow-not your leg though. This is the arrow that made the attack on Brians' leg. As you can see, the barbs (they didn't go into his leg) that would help hold the fish on the arrow, when pulling it out of the water-they are almost an inch long.
This is Brian mad because we had to leave-since his leg was hurting....
After much pleading, he allowed me to take a picture to share this special moment with all our friends and family...
